Travel Emergency Room Nurse (RN) - Lenoir, NC

Category Nursing - RN-ER Job Type Travel Seeking an experienced and adaptable Registered Nurse with strong emergency room expertise to provide exceptional care in a busy, well-equipped healthcare facility. You will be supporting a 32-bed Emergency Department in a hospital with a robust range of specialized centers, including advanced cardiac, neurological, cancer, lung, orthopedic, and surgical services. Orientation is offered bi-weekly, supporting smooth transitions and integration into the team.

Please note:

candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel contract role.

Schedule/Hours:

Contract position (specific shift details provided upon interview) Orientation sessions available every two weeks

Qualifications & Experience:

Current and valid RN license Minimum of one year recent ER nursing experience required Proficiency in triage, emergency interventions, and rapid response Strong communication and collaborative skills in high-acuity settings BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (or willingness to obtain) Adaptable to fast-paced, diverse, and complex patient populations

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver quality nursing care for patients in a high-volume ER environment Assess, stabilize, and treat acute injuries and illnesses Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams specializing in cardiac, neuro, and trauma care Document patient history, assessments, interventions, and responses accurately and promptly Provide emotional support and clear education to patients and families Exhibit sound judgment and maintain composure in crisis situations Why Consider This Opportunity?
