Essential Qualifications:
Valid RN license—current and in good standing Minimum 1 year of recent Med-Surg nursing experience BLS certification (AHA or equivalent required) Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking abilities Excellent communication and teamwork skills Willingness to adapt to new electronic medical record (EMR) systems
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive nursing care and assessments to diverse adult populations on a busy Med-Surg floor Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans and ensure positive patient outcomes Monitor, document, and report on patient status and critical changes Educate patients and families on treatment, recovery, and preventive health practices Uphold rigorous infection control procedures and hospital policies
