In this role, you will provide comprehensive outpatient nursing care to patients with cardiovascular conditions, supporting diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history, and current symptoms related to cardiac health. Assist with diagnostic procedures such as cardiac catheterization preparations and post-procedure care. Administer medications Support patients undergoing complex treatments such as IV infusions, dialysis, or oxygen therapy within outpatient clinics. Educate patients on cardiovascular health management, medication adherence, lifestyle modifications, and post-procedure care. Maintain accurate medical documentation using electronic health record (EPIC) Monitor for acute pain or adverse reactions during outpatient visits and implement appropriate interventions. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including cardiologists, radiologists, and primary care providers to coordinate patient care plans. Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques during all procedures. Participate in triage activities by assessing urgent patient needs and prioritizing care efficiently. Support discharge planning by providing detailed instructions and scheduling follow-up appointments. Skills Proven experience working in outpatient cardiology settings Proficiency in Epic EMR/EHR systems Knowledge of medical terminology related to cardiology and general physiology. Skilled in medication administration techniques including injections, IV insertions, and suturing when necessary.

Credential Requirements:

Active RN licence in NC BLS (AHA) ACLS (AHA)

Pay:
