Up to 75% About the Opportunity ContinueCARE Hospital is seeking an experienced healthcare leader to serve as Director of Clinical & Regulatory Support for our post-acute services. This leadership position plays an important role in advancing clinical excellence, regulatory readiness, infection prevention, quality outcomes, and operational performance across our owned, managed, and consulting facilities. This position will be based out of our corporate office in Plano, Texas, or our LTAC in Pineville, North Carolina, and requires up to 75% travel to support facilities and clinical leadership. Reporting to the Vice President of Clinical Services for Post-Acute Services, the Director will partner closely with facility Chief Nursing Officers (CNOs), Directors of Quality Management (DQMs), and other clinical and operational leaders to promote consistent, high-quality patient care and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate brings significant Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) experience , previous CNO and/or quality leadership experience, and strong expertise in regulatory compliance, infection prevention, and CMS Quality Reporting. Key Responsibilities In this role, you will: Support clinical and quality initiatives across owned, managed, and consulting facilities, providing guidance and resources to field CNOs and DQMs. Serve as the Infection Control Specialist for Post-Acute Services , developing, implementing, and coordinating a consistent approach to infection prevention and control. Provide regulatory and accreditation support to facilities and assist hospital leaders in maintaining ongoing survey readiness. Serve as a lead for mock surveys , including planning, scheduling, reporting, identifying opportunities for improvement, and supporting corrective action plans. Provide interim leadership support in CNO and DQM roles as requested by the VP of Clinical Services. Oversee and support Quality Reporting , with an emphasis on timely, complete, and accurate reporting. Assist facilities in creating and maintaining an environment focused on quality, positive clinical outcomes, operational productivity, and high levels of patient, physician, and employee satisfaction. Analyze and interpret clinical, financial, operational, and quality data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Assist facilities in understanding and meeting applicable regulatory and accreditation standards and preparing for surveys. Support compliance with CMS Quality Reporting requirements . Partner with the VP of Clinical Services to develop tools, documents, and resources supporting clinical, regulatory, infection prevention, and quality initiatives. Actively participate in CNO and DQM leadership development programs. Identify complex clinical and operational issues and collaborate with facility and corporate leadership to develop effective solutions. Build strong relationships and promote cooperation and commitment to organizational goals across multiple facilities and leadership teams. Required Qualifications Current, active, and unencumbered license to practice nursing or a related profession. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent degree required. Minimum of 5 years of hospital clinical practice experience . Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNO and/or DQM . Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) experience required. HCAP certification required. Previous experience as an Infection Control Coordinator or Infection Prevention Specialist . Strong knowledge of healthcare regulatory and accreditation requirements. Strong knowledge of CMS Quality Reporting requirements . Strong knowledge of infection prevention and control practices . Current driver's license and good driving record. Ability and willingness to travel by air and automobile up to 75% of the time . Ability to be based out of the Plano, TX corporate office or Pineville, NC LTAC location . Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in Nursing . Experience supporting or leading clinical and quality initiatives across multiple hospital locations .
