Job Description

Job Summary $55.00 per Hour PRN Rate! We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Registered Nurse (PRN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this flexible role, you will provide exceptional patient care across various settings, including acute care, outpatient clinics, long-term care, and community health environments. Your expertise will support diverse patient populations, from pediatrics to geriatrics, ensuring safety, comfort, and optimal health outcomes. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and health histories to determine individual needs. Administer medications and injections accurately following prescribed protocols while maintaining strict aseptic techniques. Assist with procedures such as suturing, catheterization, IV insertion, tube feeding, and wound care to support patient recovery and comfort. Manage complex cases involving acute pain management, trauma medicine, infectious disease care, or chronic conditions like memory care or behavioral health issues. Document all patient interactions thoroughly in electronic health record (EHR) systems , ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for discharge planning, case management, and coordination of post-acute or home care services. Provide triage and urgent care assessments for patients presenting with urgent or emergent needs in outpatient or emergency room settings. Qualifications Valid RN license in good standing with current state requirements. Proven experience working in diverse clinical environments such as hospital medicine, ICU, emergency medicine, or long-term care facilities. Competency in performing IV infusions, phlebotomy, specimen collection/processing, and sterile processing procedures. Familiarity with specialized areas including cardiology (cardiac catheterization), ophthalmology (botulinum toxin treatment), dialysis support, hospice & palliative medicine, or trauma centers is a plus. Ability to work independently while demonstrating excellent patient care skills across various populations including pediatrics, geriatrics (memory/dementia care), behavioral health patients, and individuals with disabilities. Critical care experience such as ICU or Level I/II trauma center background is advantageous. Knowledge of infection control practices and aseptic techniques essential for maintaining safety standards. Join our team to provide compassionate nursing care that truly makes a difference!
