Functional Medicine Infusion Nurse

Well established Integrative Medical Practice (www.carolinacenter.com) specializing in the treatment of chronic complex illnesses using intravenous nutritional therapies, Vitamin C infusions, chelation therapy, and IV antibiotics seeks RN to perform weekly infusions for part time position working 2 to 3 days a week. The clinic is open Monday through Friday with flexibility for scheduling although current IV schedule is Mondays and Tuesdays. Candidate must have excellent IV skills to perform intravenous infusions, monitoring patients, some routine labs, assisting with inventory management, PICC line/Port management, teaching, and dressing changes working closely with providers on patient care issues. Only nurses with significant IV and central line experience should apply, preferably with some experience in Integrative or Functional Medicine. This individual must be able to be self-directed in goal setting for managing complex patient situations. work independently, multi-task, and navigate a busy daily schedule. Friendliness, warmth, and the ability to emotionally connect with patients is of paramount importance. Also critical is the desire to expand one's knowledge base and to be open to different ways of doing things. Flexibility and adaptability are important attributes.
