Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-Psych Job Type Travel Provide specialized psychiatric nursing care in an established behavioral health hospital located in Randleman, NC. This travel assignment offers an opportunity to work 3x 12-hour day shifts (7 a.m.-7:30 p.m.) with every other weekend rotation and holiday coverage as needed. Float assignment across multiple facilities within the health system may be required, providing a dynamic and varied work experience.
Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adolescent, adult, and pediatric patients with psychiatric diagnoses such as Major Depressive Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, Schizoaffective Disorder, and Substance Abuse Manage patient care within established nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:6 Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans Demonstrate proficiency in EPIC documentation system Adhere to all facility policies, including punctuality and compliance requirements
Qualifications:
Active RN license with psychiatric nursing experience (minimum 1 year) STARR certification and BLS certification required Prior Charge RN experience essential Comfortable working with diverse age groups in a behavioral health setting Willingness to float between facilities as needed Flexibility with scheduling and adherence to strict attendance policies Understanding of or readiness to complete Pass/Fail EKG exam mandated for all nurses in the facility First-time travelers are welcome
