Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, arrhythmias, and vital signs for a diverse patient population. Administer medications, IV therapy, and other physician-ordered treatments. Respond swiftly to changes in patient conditions, notifying providers and updating care plans as necessary. Communicate effectively with patients, family members, and healthcare professionals to ensure clear understanding of treatment plans. Document all care provided and patient responses in accordance with regulatory and facility-specific guidelines. Adhere to best practices for infection control and patient safety at all times.Required Qualifications:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing. Minimum of 1 year of recent clinical experience in a Telemetry or Cardiac Stepdown unit. Current BLS and ACLS certifications. Strong assessment skills and the ability to make swift, sound clinical decisions. Proficiency in EKG interpretation and electronic medical records.
