We're seeking an experienced RN to step into a Nurse Unit Manager role in Siler City, NC. This is a local, contract position starting ASAP for approximately 9 weeks. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM, and the pay is $2,360 for a 40-hour week. What you'll bring An active, valid Registered Nurse license in your state Prior nursing leadership experience Current BLS certification What you'll do Lead and support your nursing team (RNs, LPNs, CNAs), making sure policies and best practices are followed Oversee patient care—ensure accurate assessments, safe medication administration, timely documentation, and adjustments to care plans as needed Help manage staffing and scheduling to keep patient care running smoothly Coach and mentor staff to support their professional development and clinical growth Monitor quality and compliance, conduct audits, and drive improvements when issues are identified Coordinate communication across the healthcare team to ensure cohesive, patient-centered care Advocate for patients, address concerns promptly, and promote a respectful care environment Respond to medical emergencies according to established protocols Ensure all electronic health record entries are complete and accurate Stay informed about changing healthcare regulations and help the team remain compliant Perform other duties as assigned by management If you're a hands-on nursing leader who values teamwork, patient advocacy, and quality improvement, this role could be a great fit.
