Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-Rehab/LTC Job Type Contract Step into an impactful nursing role where your expertise in rehabilitation and long-term acute care truly makes a difference. This opportunity is ideal for Registered Nurses passionate about delivering high-quality care within a long-term care or long-term acute care environment on a contract basis. Ideal candidates bring experience supporting diverse patient populations and thrive in multi-disciplinary teams focused on rehabilitation and continuity of care. Skilled communication, adaptability, and a dedication to patient advocacy are essential.
Schedule/Hours:
Full-time shifts; flexibility required to meet facility needs
Key Qualifications:
Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse license Previous experience in Rehabilitation, Long Term Acute Care (LTAC), or Long Term Care settings Strong assessment, critical thinking, and patient documentation skills Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, team-oriented atmosphere Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Core Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a rehab or LTC environment Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams on patient care plans Monitor patient status, administer medications and treatments, and provide patient/family education Ensure accurate and timely documentation in compliance with facility policies Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and report concerns to the medical team Uphold infection control standards and regulatory requirements consistently
