Nurses 1: 10 on day 1:19 nights,- Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Heart disease, diabetes, dementia.
Job Duties:
Nurse act as charge and pass meds and perform wound care.- Experience or 'Must have' skills: LTC experience.
- Are there IVs or titratable drips?: NO.
- Area there Tele monitors? If so do you have monitor techs on this unit? Do RN's read strips?: NONE.
- Are RNs required to attend team conferences for acute inpatient rehab?: NO.
DON/Charge Nurse/House Supervisor:
DON, no supervisors.- Physician availability after hours: By phone on-call.
Interdisciplinary Team:
no rehab beds only LTC.- PT/OT/SLP, Pulmonary or Cardiac Rehab, Case Managers, Social Workers, Dieticians?: PT as needed, Social worker designee.
- Is RT on-site 24/7?: NONE.
- Oxygen Therapy /Equipment (ie Cpap, Bipap, High Flow): Concentrators and portable concentrators.
- Pharmacy on-site? Medication dispensing system?: Off site.
Shifts & Scheduling:
12hr shifts 7-7, No blocked schedule & no self-scheduling.Weekend Requirements:
