Job Description

Unit Notes Department:
Emergency Room | RN

    Trauma Level IV, Acute Stroke Ready Hospital.

2 ER rooms with 1 overflow room if needed.

  • RT Equipment:
    RN to do all RT equipment Set-up except CRNA will help with vents.
  • Do you have Monitor Techs in the
ER:
No, RN read tele strips, Mindray monitors.
  • X-Ray or CT in the ER?: Radiology on call after hours for xray and CT. They transport but may require help at times.
  • Does Phlebotomy draw labs or RN's draw: Phlebotomy draws labs
  • RN not usually.
  • Shifts & Scheduling:
    Self Scheduling, 7-7 manager to balance, consider block scheduling on a case-to-case basis.
  • Weekend Requirements:
    Every other potentially every third weekend.
  • Holiday Requirements:
    Every other.
  • Is there call or a standby requirement: Low census on-call for extra shifts.
  • Floating Requirements:
    Float to MS units.
  • Scrub Color:
    Any color/pattern scrubs ok. Closed toe shoes.
