1 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Primary Care Clinic position requiring an ND or compact RN license and Cerner EMR experience. Details Primary Care clinic setting within a Level II trauma facility Family Medicine specialty with possible travel to rural clinics in Velva or Mohall, ND Schedule of Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm, 5x8s totaling 40 hrs/week No on-call responsibilities Uses Cerner EMR system Patient volumes vary by clinic: Ortho 40+/day, Hand 20/day, Family Practice 15-25/day Hand and Family Practice clinics are staffed by a single nurse Requirements Active RN license (ND state or Compact) required with no disciplinary history Current BLS certification required Clinic or Family Medicine nursing experience preferred Cerner EMR experience required Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility Additional Information Provide direct nursing care including assessments, treatment support, and care coordination Assist with clinic procedures, patient education, and follow-up care for surgical and therapeutic treatment plans Monitor patient progress and communicate condition changes to providers and interdisciplinary team Maintain accurate, timely documentation and support coding and clinic workflows Perform point-of-care testing, specimen collection, and lab packaging per clinic protocols Coordinate with providers, therapists, and staff to support efficient patient flow Ensure prior authorizations are submitted for procedures and medications Supported by Nurse Managers and Nurse Educators, with additional nursing staff depending on clinic
