Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-Rehab/LTC Job Type Contract Deliver exceptional patient care in a long-term care environment as a Registered Nurse specializing in Rehabilitation, Long-Term Acute Care, and Long-Term Care. This contract opportunity offers the chance to work in a supportive setting where your nursing expertise will directly impact patient recovery journeys and overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide care and support for patients requiring long-term, complex medical management Assess and monitor patient health, administer medications, and communicate changes to the care team Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and adjust individualized care plans Document patient information accurately and maintain up-to-date medical records Offer guidance and emotional support to patients and their families during the rehabilitation process Ensure adherence to facility protocols and regulatory compliance for quality and safety Participate in team meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
Current, valid RN license Minimum of one year of recent experience in Rehab, LTAC, or Long-Term Care nursing In-depth understanding of care plans, wound care, medication administration, and patient assessments Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams CPR/BLS certification (as required) This position provides a valuable opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of your patients and their families.
