Job Description

Trusted is seeking an experienced nurse for this exciting travel nursing assignment. Experience:

24 months of experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years). 12 months of Medical Surgical Oncology experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years). Travel experience is preferred. Experience with Epic is required. Trauma Level 1 experience is required.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a North Dakota license or compact license (required for submission). This role may require floating to additional units and locations Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >60 miles from facility to be submitted. 6 months gap required between for Staff at

Special Requests:
  • Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.
  • Must take a full 6 months off from any Sanford Health, Good Samaritan Society, and Marshfield Clinic Health System location prior to submission.
  • Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
  • Hematology and bone marrow transplant experience preferred.
Unit Details:
  • Cares for medically complex hematology/oncology patients requiring blood products, antibiotics, and symptom and side effect management.
  • If trained to administer chemotherapy, may be assigned accordingly.
  • Uses Philips Care Monitors, glucometers, bladder scanners, language line, and zebra phone.
  • Will not work alone.
  • Nurse to patient ratios: 1:3 for patients receiving chemotherapy or bone marrow transplant, 1:4-5 for regular oncology patients, 1:4-6 on nights.
Shift & Scheduling:
  • Every other weekend.
  • Every other holiday.
  • No call required.
Floating Requirements:
  • Float to other med-surg units at Broadway, with potential to float to Fargo med-surg units at Med Center or South.

14 days maximum time off 2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 12 months Driver's license required for submission
