Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, medical histories, and physical examinations across all age groups. Diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of health conditions utilizing evidence-based practices. Prescribe medications and treatments following HIPAA regulations and DEA guidelines. Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans. Utilize EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Athenahealth for documentation, order entry, and clinical decision support. Provide health coaching, preventive care education, and chronic disease management. Participate in community outreach initiatives aimed at improving public health awareness. Conduct triage over the phone or in person to prioritize urgent patient needs efficiently. Assist with procedures such as suturing, IV infusion, catheterization, or dermal filler administration when necessary. Support clinical research projects or quality improvement initiatives within the practice setting. Skills Proven experience working with diverse populations including children, seniors, and individuals with disabilities. Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks. Strong knowledge of pharmacology including medication administration and drug interactions. Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation techniques such as sonography or spirometry. Experience managing acute pain, infectious diseases, or complex chronic conditions. Ability to perform procedures like suturing, venipuncture, catheter care, or spinal taps confidently. Knowledge of CPT coding for billing purposes and ICD coding for diagnoses (ICD-10/ICD-9). Excellent client communication skills coupled with cultural sensitivity. Understanding of healthcare laws including Workers' Compensation law and HIPAA compliance. Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams in outpatient or inpatient settings such as hospitals or nursing homes. Critical care experience including ICU or Level I trauma center exposure is advantageous. Skills in telehealth delivery methods to extend reach into remote communities. $145,000.00 - $195,000.00 per year
