Job Description
Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery (L&D)
Job Summary:
- The Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery provides specialized, patient-centered care to mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and the immediate postpartum period.
Requirements:
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice or Compact RN License. Current BLS certification required. ACLS, NRP, and Fetal Monitoring certifications preferred or required per facility policy. Recent Labor & Delivery, Women's Health, or Obstetrics nursing experience preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, monitor, and provide nursing care to antepartum, laboring, postpartum, and newborn patients.
