1 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Room RN for a night shift assignment requiring a NE or compact RN license and prior ER experience. Details Emergency Department setting serving a population of approximately 10,000 people Department operates 24/7 with a physician on duty at all times Provides direct care to acutely and critically ill patients Night shift schedule Requirements Active NE or compact RN license required Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program required Minimum 3 years of nursing experience required ER experience preferred Current certifications required or willing to obtain:
ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NRP, CPR
Ability to lift up to 20-50 lbs and assist with patient transfers Strong manual dexterity and range of motion required for extended standing, walking, and sitting Additional Information Assess and triage ER patients based on history, physical exam, and chief complaint Administer medications, IV fluids, blood transfusions, and other physician-directed treatments Operate and monitor specialized medical equipment Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to coordinate patient care Provide patient education as prescribed by physician Perform wound cleaning and bandaging Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care Respect and uphold tribal and cultural traditions and practices Adhere to HIPAA regulations at all times
