9695209-03038 Job Description An outstanding contract opportunity is available for a dedicated Registered Nurse to make a tangible impact supporting a high school student in the greater Derry, NH area. This assignment runs from ASAP through June 2027, offering consistent full-time hours (Monday-Friday, 3537.5 hours weekly) throughout the school year. You will provide essential 1:1 care, supporting a male high school student during his educational day and accompanying him on school transportation.

Key Qualifications:

Active, unencumbered RN license in New Hampshire Previous school nursing experience or comparable clinical background Competency with personal care, hygiene assistance, and health monitoring Ability to administer emergency seizure medication (student experiences rare seizures) Strong communication, teamwork skills, and compassion for student-focused care Reliable transportation and flexibility to ride the bus with the student daily CPR/BLS certification and experience in pediatric or adolescent care is strongly preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver direct, individualized nursing care throughout the students school day Assist with all personal care and hygiene needs respectfully and sensitively Administer emergency seizure medication as needed and maintain up-to-date documentation Ride the bus with the student to and from school, ensuring a safe, monitored environment Communicate care needs with parents, teachers, and school staff Advocate for the students health, safety, and dignity in all interactions Maintain accurate records and follow all district health protocols This unique position offers a rewarding chance to provide stability and comfort to a student who relies on your expertise.
