Nurses with experience in any of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: COVID, Cardiac drips, Cardiac monitor, Cardioversion, Defibrillation, Device experience, EKG monitoring, High acuity patients, Post cardiac intervention, or Sheath pulls. Associate's Degree (ADN) or above in nursing Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license 1 year experience in cardiac telemetry or other cardiac care setting preferred BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association Skilled in EKG rhythm interpretation and other cardiac monitoring techniques Proficient in electronic medical record systemsResponsibilities:
Monitor cardiac rhythm and other critical vital signs, interpreting data to identify any signs of distress or abnormal patterns Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to the medical plan of care Collaborate with healthcare providers to evaluate and modify the plan of care as necessary, with a focus on patient's cardiac status Educate patients and their families on best practices for heart health, treatment plans, and any relevant home care instructions Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient's condition, treatment, and progress in accordance with hospital and departmental policiesBenefits:
