A Registered Nurse provides medical care and treatment, educates patients about their conditions, and provides emotional support to patients and families. Works in hospitals, schools, clinics or community health centers. Works under the supervision of a physician or other specialist, and serves as the primary point of care for patients in a hospital setting. May specialize in emergency room work, or treatment for a particular condition, or specialize in working with infants, the elderly or other patient groups. May work as an advanced practice specialists and prescribe medications in addition to offering specialty care.

Job Description

The Baldwin is seeking Full-Time (32 hours) and Part-Time Nurses (7a-3p) to join our team in the Assisted Living at The Baldwin Senior Living, as we work to open another house. We are looking for people who are as excited as we are to support seniors and each other by living our values of compassion, respect, integrity, professionalism, and teamwork, and be a part of The Baldwin's very special and caring culture. Full-time RN/LPNs hired will receive the following bonuses: $800 sign-on bonus after 90 days $1,200 commitment bonus after 6 months $2,000 additional commitment bonus after 1 year Part-time RN/LPNs hired will receive the following bonuses: $400 sign-on bonus after 90 days $600 commitment bonus after 6 months $1,000 additional commitment bonus after 1 year Responsibilities include the accurate and timely administration of medications and treatments, assessment of the health and mental status of residents during medical administration, and proper and immediate response to the emergency call system in the independent living apartments, and common areas. Candidates must display a genuine interest and compassion for the aging, possess openness in maintaining a multi-disciplinary team approach to care for the elderly, be able to maintain a cooperative and courteous attitude despite simultaneous tasks in a fast-paced environment, and have a wiliness to learn and grow. $34.00 - $47.00 per hour
