1 Description American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Psychiatric position at a pediatric and adolescent inpatient facility, requiring prior pediatric psych experience and phlebotomy skills. Details Inpatient pediatric and adolescent psychiatric facility Patient population consists exclusively of children and adolescents receiving psychiatric and residential treatment care 2nd shift only Requirements Active NH or Compact RN license required Current BLS certification required Current Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification required Previous pediatric psychiatric nursing experience required Phlebotomy experience required, including blood draws on pediatric and adolescent patients Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible Additional Information Administers medications and medical treatments under the direction of the Nurse Manager Participates in comprehensive treatment planning as part of a multi-disciplinary treatment team Utilizes the nursing process in accordance with the facility's Practice Model theories, beliefs, and principles Two managerial references required for consideration
