A Registered Nurse provides medical care and treatment, educates patients about their conditions, and provides emotional support to patients and families. Works in hospitals, schools, clinics or community health centers. Works under the supervision of a physician or other specialist, and serves as the primary point of care for patients in a hospital setting. May specialize in emergency room work, or treatment for a particular condition, or specialize in working with infants, the elderly or other patient groups. May work as an advanced practice specialists and prescribe medications in addition to offering specialty care.
This position is eligible for a commencement bonus of $5,000.00, with 50% payable at or around the hire date and the remaining 50% payable after six (6) months of continuous employment.
Job Summary:
The Office Nurse is a Registered Nurse or LPN who is responsible for the care and treatment of clients in a medical office as directed by a physician or Advanced Practice Provider . This nurse utilizes the Nursing Process to ensure that quality care is provided to adult and pediatric patients. The Office Nurse is accountable to the Clinical Nurse Supervisor and works closely with medical staff, clinical staff, and support staff.
Essential Qualifications:
Licensed as a Registered Nurse or LPN; be computer literate; hold current BLS certification; 3 years of pertinent experience is preferred.
