Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Current RN license in the state of NH Experience in school nursing or pediatric care preferred Familiarity with state immunization and health regulations Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and build rapport with students, families, and staff CPR/AED certification required Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Administer and manage school health services and serve as liaison between healthcare providers, families, and educational staff Conduct thorough health assessments and develop individual health plans as needed for students Plan and coordinate screenings, preventive health programs, immunization tracking, and emergency response protocols Provide both direct and indirect care while upholding district policies and physician orders Participate in the creation of student Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and safety initiatives Lead staff trainings on health issues, first aid, and accident reporting procedures Maintain accurate health records and facilitate state-mandated reporting and documentation Respect confidentiality and promote a safe, inclusive environment for all By joining this school-wide effort, you'll enhance your professional skills while directly contributing to a healthier, more supportive educational community.
