Job Description

Category Schools - RN Nurse Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting the well-being and academic achievement of students as a contract Registered Nurse within a school setting near Weare, NH. This role is ideal for compassionate nursing professionals who excel at providing both care and education in a dynamic environment. You will work collaboratively within the school community to promote health, ensure safety, and become a trusted resource for students, staff, and families.
Key Qualifications:
Current RN license with eligibility to practice in New Hampshire Previous nursing experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred Strong organizational and time management skills Clear understanding of confidentiality and compliance with legal and health regulations Excellent communication skills and ability to work with multidisciplinary teams Ability to perform comprehensive health assessments and develop individual health plans Up-to-date knowledge of child protection, safety, and immunization requirements
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and indirect nursing care following professional standards and individual student health plans Organize and manage school health services and keep accurate student health records Coordinate health screenings, physical exams, and immunization initiatives Act as a liaison among physicians, families, and community health resources Maintain confidentiality and uphold reporting requirements for student protection Lead and train staff on emergency care, first aid, and accident procedures Collaborate on individual education plans and provide classroom health education support Contribute to ongoing improvements in student safety and wellness programs Stay current with in-service education and self-directed professional development Here's your opportunity to bring valuable nursing expertise to a supportive and rewarding educational environment.
