Job Description

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a real difference supporting students and educators as a Registered Nurse for a summer school program near Windham, NH. This contract opportunity seeks an experienced RN with a passion for school nursing, ready to provide high-quality care for students during their Extended School Year (ESY) session.
Key Dates & Schedule:
July 6-9, 8am-2pm: High school setting July 14-18, 8am-2pm: Elementary and high school coverage July 22-24, 8am-2pm: High school July 28-32, 8am-2pm: Elementary school August 4-6, 8am-12pm: Elementary school
What You'll Bring:
Active RN license, required Previous pediatric or school nursing experience strongly preferred Adaptability to work across elementary and high school environments Strong communication and documentation abilities Dedication to ensuring a safe, healthy learning environment for all students and staff
What You'll Do:
Deliver direct nursing care, including first aid, medication administration, and health assessments Collaborate closely with school staff to manage student health plans and medical emergencies Maintain accurate health records and plans of care Promote health education and safety practices within the school community Be a resource for staff, students, and parents during the summer session
