Job Description

Category Schools - RN Nurse Job Type Contract An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Registered Nurse to support summer programming in a school setting near Windham, NH. This contract role covers multiple dates and locations in July and August, providing essential nursing care to students during extended school year sessions. The schedule offers a mix of high school and elementary school coverage, making it ideal for RNs experienced with various student age groups. Your schedule will be as follows: July 6-9, 8am-2pm at the high school July 14-18, 8am-2pm at both elementary and high schools July 22-24, 8am-2pm at the high school July 28-31, 8am-2pm at the elementary school August 4-6, 8am-12pm at the elementary school
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Active RN license required Previous experience in school nursing or working with pediatric populations Strong assessment and communication skills Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and students Flexibility to adapt to different school environments and schedules CPR certification and knowledge of emergency protocols
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide daily nursing care and medication administration to students Monitor students with chronic health conditions and respond to emergencies Maintain accurate and confidential health records Act as a resource for staff and students regarding health-related topics Communicate with parents and guardians as necessary regarding student needs Support a safe, healthy learning environment Take advantage of this rewarding chance to make a genuine impact on student well-being while enjoying a concise summer assignment.
