Qualifications:

Valid RN license in NJ (or compact state eligibility) Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience in rehab/long-term care preferred Current BLS certification Strong commitment to patient safety and superior care Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Key Responsibilities:

Complete comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission to develop individualized care plans Lead patient/family teaching and initiate discharge planning from admission Deliver direct patient care and participate in rehabilitation programs using a positive, patient-centered approach Maintain accurate, timely documentation and communicate changes to interdisciplinary team members Supervise and mentor ancillary staff, delegate tasks, and facilitate team cohesion Maintain personal and environmental safety, upholding hospital policies and procedures Proactively pursue professional growth and contribute to unit improvement efforts
