A Registered Nurse provides medical care and treatment, educates patients about their conditions, and provides emotional support to patients and families. Works under the supervision of a physician or other specialist, and serves as the primary point of care for patients in a hospital setting. Job Description

Looking for a Veterinary Surgical Nurse with extensive anesthesia knowledge to join our fast-paced team. We're not just your average vet clinic. We're an independently owned small animal hospital with a heart (and fully stocked surgical suite) and we are 100% dedicated to top-notch care.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Prepare surgical suites and equipment for procedures Place IV catheters & draw blood Assist veterinarians during surgeries (orthopedic, soft tissue, emergency, etc.) Monitor anesthesia and patient vitals Maintain sterile field and aseptic techniques Post-operative patient care and pain management Clean, sterilize, and maintain surgical instruments and equipment Accurately document medical records and surgical reports Provide compassionate communication with clients regarding procedures and aftercare at intakes/discharges
REQUIREMENTS
✅ Certified/Licensed Veterinary Technician (CVT, RVT, or LVT) preferred ✅ 2+ years of veterinary surgical experience (hospital or specialty practice) ✅ Strong anesthesia monitoring and surgical prep skills ✅ Ability to stay calm under pressure and manage multiple priorities ✅ Passion for animal care and professional growth
