Full-time Wound Treatment Nurse Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Wound Treatment Nurse to join our team at Atlas Rehabilitation and Healthcare at Daughters of Miriam Campus. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality wound care to our residents, while also supervising and guiding our Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and other nursing personnel.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care to residents, including wound treatment and care planning Supervise and guide CNAs and other nursing personnel to ensure high-quality care and adherence to facility policies and procedures Monitor and evaluate the performance of CNAs and other nursing personnel, providing education and counseling as necessary Conduct disciplinary actions and complete performance evaluations as required Participate in quality assurance programs and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements Collaborate with other resident services to ensure comprehensive care Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents Provide information to the Billing Office and complete medical forms, reports, and evaluations as necessary
Requirements:
Minimum of a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university or graduate from an approved LPN/RN program Current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN or LPN in this state Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language Knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served Ability to make independent decisions and deal tactfully with personnel, residents, and the general public Basic computer knowledge
