Requirements and Qualifications:

Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum of one year of recent Emergency Room (ER) nursing experience Proficiency in emergency protocols, triage, and acute care practices Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications Strong assessment, documentation, and critical-thinking abilities Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Flexibility to effectively manage shifting priorities in a high-pressure ER environment

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct patient care in accordance with established ER protocols and standards Conduct rapid assessment and triage of incoming patients Administer medications, IV therapies, and emergency interventions as required Accurately document patient conditions, treatments, and responses Communicate effectively with patients, families, and members of the healthcare team Support patient safety initiatives and participate in code teams as needed Maintain compliance with all regulatory and facility policies during each shift
