This assignment involves one-on-one support for a 3-year-old student diagnosed with Infantile Neuroaxonal Dystrophy (INAD). Key Qualifications:

Active RN license in New Jersey, in good standing Demonstrated experience in pediatric, school-based, or comparable nursing roles Competency in NG-tube management (not G-tube) Physical ability to lift and transfer a non-ambulatory child (~24 lbs) and assist with stander and gait-trainer use Experience delivering care to non-verbal, medically complex children is strongly preferred Comfort and experience with bus transportation for students Availability for onsite work from 8:00 a.m. 3:00 p.m., Monday through

Friday Core Responsibilities:

Provide vigilant, compassionate nursing care to the assigned student throughout school hours, including on the school bus Manage daily NG-tube feedings and monitor for any signs of discomfort or complications Assist with transitions, lifting, and positioning to and from equipment (stander, gait-trainer) and during transport Implement and update health plans in coordination with school staff and family, maintaining clear communication at all times Uphold health and safety standards and documentation in compliance with school policies and nursing best practices This position offers a fulfilling opportunity to make a significant impact on a childs educational journey.
