Required:

All hires after July 2012 are required to have a Bachelor's Degree in nursing OR if Associates Degree or Diploma, RN must provide proof of enrollment in a BSN program prior to hire, be continuously enrolled and complete within 5 years of hire date or internal RN promotion date. Associates Degree AND 2 years of experience in the specialty area will be accepted in lieu of BSN Minimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation):

Required:

One year Med/Surg experience.

Preferred:

Previous ICU experience.

License, Registry or Certification :

Required:

Current NJ RN licensure and American Heart Association CPR certification.

Preferred:

Certification in specialty. Knowledge, Skills and/or

Abilities :

Required:

Certified in ACLS, Critical Care, Vent and Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation upon hire. Stroke training is required within 1 year of hire.

CCRN is recommended.
