We are currently seeking an RN for our Assisted Living Unit. Registered Nurse (RN) responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Administer medications, provide vaccinations and render treatment to geriatric patientsCommunicate with physicians, LPNs, radiologists and other medical professionalsCollaborate with physicians to create a Plan of Care for each patientPlans effective administration of assigned unitCreate and contribute to patients medical records as neededAdmits, transfers, and/or discharges residentsRespond to inquiries, concerns and complaints from patients and their parents or guardiansTrack and maintain medical supply inventory along with other staff membersCounsel patients and family members before, during and after treatmentRegistered Nurse (RN) skills and requirements:

Valid nursing license in the state of New JerseyExcellent bedside manner and communication skillsWorking knowledge of health care laws and regulations

Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and holding a valid license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in the State of New Jersey. Successful completion of one (1) year experience in a long term care facility preferred Have a knowledge of federal and state standards relating to documentation and resident assessment Have an understanding of, an affection for, and a desire to work with the elderly. Be able to set priorities, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.

Per Diem $45 per hourAll shifts available
