Bachelors of Science in Nursing Required. New Jersey certification as a School Nurse preferred as established by New Jersey certification law and regulation. Primary responsibilities The primary responsibility of the School Nurse is to ensure the health and safety of the students and staff of the School, including full compliance with state mandates and regulations. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Administer the Health Office Collaborate with school personnel to establish health and wellness programs suited to students' needs; provide health instruction Conduct health screenings Maintain contact with students' families, teachers, social workers, therapists and child study teams as necessary Maintain appropriate records and documentation, including all reports required by the state and the Board of Directors Participate in parent and Child Study Team meetings as requested Contribute to the general life of the school Demonstrate evidence of professional growth and developmentFeatures/Salary/Benefits :
