Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Infusion Nurse to join our team at Zimmermann Modern Wellness. The ideal RN candidate holds an I.V. certification, with ER or infusion center experience, and is CPR & First Aid Certified. Responsibilities Ability to successfully insert IV line for a broad spectrum of patients: adolescents, adults, geriatric population. Administer intravenous medications and therapies as prescribed by leading physician. Ability to read and interpret physicians' orders and notes. Monitor patients for adverse reactions during infusion treatments and respond appropriately. Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment administration and patient responses. Provide education to patients and families regarding treatment plans and home care instructions. Perform venipuncture on patients as needed for lab work or treatment purposes. Adheres to infection control/safety guidelines and confidentiality policies as mandated by OSHA and HIPPA. Maintain professional etiquette at all times. Hours This position is part time 1 day per week for Wednesdays with possibility of extra per diem (as needed) days on Thursday 8 hours per week Experience Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey. Previous experience of 2+ years in IV infusion center or ER setting is preferred. I.V. Certification required. CPR Certification required. EBOO certification is a plus and may warrant additional pay. Familiarity with infusion systems and techniques is highly desirable. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
