Requirements:

Required Certifications:

BLS, PALS, APHON

Required Skills:

Pediatric oncology, Pediatric Early Warning Score (PEWS)/Rapid Response Team, Administration of blood & blood products, Care and management of ports, Central line blood draw, Central Line/Implanted Line Care, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Phlebotomy, Starting and maintaining IVs, TPN/Lipids, Pediatric Dosage Calculations, Assist with lumbar puncture, Neuromuscular disease, Seizure disorders, Administration of chemotherapy, Body fluid handling post Chemotherapy, Monitoring Chemotherapy, Symptom management, Fractures, Management of Chest Tubes, Oxygen Delivery Systems, Insertion and management of indwelling urinary catheter, Renal failure, Infection Prevention, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Wound assessment/care
