Patient Ratio:
Approximately 1:2 in NICU; 1:3-4 in
SCN Weekend Requirement:
Every other weekend
Requirements:
Active NJ or Compact RN license Minimum 2 years of current Level
III NICU
experience required BLS certification required NRP certification required PALS preferred EPIC experience required Strong experience caring for neonates in a Level III or higher NICU Experience with ventilator management, including AC/PC, SIMV, CPAP, BiPAP, and PEEP Experience with Bubble CPAP, HFNC, Vapotherm, and oxygen delivery systems Experience with UAC/UVC and central/implanted line care Experience with IV vasopressors and neonatal medication administration Experience with blood products and arterial line management Experience with phototherapy, thermoregulation, glucose monitoring, and sepsis workups Experience with neonatal feeding, gavage feeding, and breast milk handling Previous charge nurse experience preferred Experience with jet ventilators, oscillators, ECMO, therapeutic hypothermia/CritiCool, and transport-received neonates preferred Must be willing to float to appropriate assignments within Newborn, Pediatrics, and PICU Employee Benefits Competitive, high-paying assignments Housing + Meals Stipend $100 Benefits Card Friday payday Paid Sick Leave Medical & Dental Coverage Employee Shopping Discounts Referral Rewards Program Mental Health Support Financial Wellness Programs Simple, Stress-Free Onboarding Getting started is easy.
