1 Description American Traveler is seeking an RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring a NJ or compact RN license and 2 years of critical care experience. Details Cardiac Catheterization Lab setting within a hospital 4-day work week with 9.5-10 hour shifts, 7AM-5PM STEMI on-call requirement of 10-12 shifts per month, including 1-2 weekends (Friday 5pm-Monday 7am) Floating required as needed to a nearby sister hospital Uses Epic EMR for charting Requirements Active NJ or compact RN license required Current BLS and ACLS certification required Minimum 2 years critical care experience required Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred Additional Information Perform comprehensive patient assessments across all age groups from pediatric to geriatric Deliver competent clinical care including use of emergency equipment and procedures Maintain thorough documentation of nursing care and patient progress Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient assessment and education Support timely completion of Pre-Admission Testing (PAT) and evaluate orders for appropriateness Follow National Patient Safety Goals including Universal Protocol and two-patient identifier verification Local candidates accepted at a different pay rate Travelers may stay on assignment up to one calendar year from initial start date, with a required break before returning Background check and drug screening required, allow at least 2 weeks for results processing
