Registered Nurse IV Drip HealthWave Restorative Wellness North Haledon, NJ Job Details Part-time $46.50 - $56.01 an hour 5 hours ago Qualifications Vascular access Vital signs RN License BLS Certification Bachelor of Science in Nursing Associate's degree Full Job Description We are looking for a skilled, charismatic, and detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing Aesthetics and Wellness team. The primary focus of this role is the seamless administration of IV vitamin drips and hydration therapies, serving as the frontline of our wellness floor. In addition to mastering our IV menu, you will collaborate closely with our Nurse Practitioner to assist with advanced regenerative therapies, including Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) processing. The ideal candidate pairs flawless clinical skills (expert IV placement) with a warm, welcoming presence that makes clients feel relaxed and pampered. Key Responsibilities1.
Primary Focus:
IV Hydration & Micronutrient Therapy Review client intake forms, assess vital signs, and confirm eligibility for customized IV vitamin drips and intramuscular (IM) injections. Establish and maintain peripheral intravenous (IV) access with exceptional skill, ensuring maximum patient comfort and safety. Mix, prepare, and safely administer customized IV formulations according to clinic protocols and standing orders. Monitor clients throughout their infusion session, maintaining a relaxing environment while tracking response to therapy. 2. Clinical Support & PRP Processing Perform venipuncture to collect blood samples for Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) treatments. Operate laboratory equipment (centrifuge) to process and prepare high-quality PRP for the Nurse Practitioner's injection procedures. Assist the medical team with prep, sanitization, and post-procedure care for both aesthetic and injury recovery treatments. 3. Patient Education & Experience Educate clients on the specific benefits of various vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants to help them select the best wellness packages. Deliver clear, concise pre- and post-care instructions for all treatments. Maintain an immaculate, sterile, and organized clinical environment that reflects a premium wellness space. Document all client assessments, vital signs, and treatment notes accurately in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
Qualifications & Skills Education:
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
Licensure:
Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Current BLS certification required.
Experience:
Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience. Exceptional, proven IV insertion skills are non-negotiable (experience in ER, ICU, Pre-Op, or dedicated IV lounges is highly valued).
Skills:
Expert knowledge of fluid volume management, aseptic technique, and peripheral vein selection.
