9670878-07060 Job Description Step into a meaningful short-term opportunity in a vibrant school environment as a Registered Nurse, supporting the well-being of a medically fragile student. This contract position runs from October 1, 2026, through October 10, 2026, and offers a chance to make a direct impact during a fellow RNs vacation leave. As the dedicated nurse, youll provide essential 1:1 care, including management and monitoring of G-tube needs, and ensure safety and comfort for your assigned student throughout their school day, including during transportation.

Key Qualifications:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Jersey Previous experience in a school setting highly preferred Comfortable with G-tube interventions and hands-on nursing care Commitment to in-person, on-site presence Ability to assist with student transport (bus riding required) Compassionate, reliable, and able to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver direct 1:1 nursing care for a medically fragile student on a daily basis Accompany the student on the bus to and from school, ensuring their safety (8:00/8:15am3:30pm, MondayFriday) Administer and monitor G-tube feeds and related medical interventions Maintain thorough nursing documentation in accordance with school and legal guidelines Collaborate with educators, support staff, and caregivers to create a nurturing environment Respond promptly to any medical needs or emergencies This is an excellent opportunity for nurses with school experience seeking a rewarding, short-term assignment where every day brings the chance to make a difference.
