Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving as a dedicated on-site Registered Nurse for a remarkable young student with unique medical needs. This role will span from January 4, 2026, through June 24, 2027, with consistent weekday hours from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, providing approximately 35 hours per week of meaningful, hands-on care. The assignment centers around supporting a three-year-old student diagnosed with Infantile Neuroaxonal Dystrophy (INAD). The student is non-ambulatory, non-verbal, and requires assistance with an NG-tube (please note, not a G-tube). Daily responsibilities include lifting (as the child weighs approximately 24 lbs), transport through various mobility devices like a stander and gait trainer, and providing care while accompanying the student on the bus to and from school.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

Active RN license, with a strong foundation in school or pediatric nursing Experience working with medically fragile children, preferably in an educational setting Proficient in NG-tube care and monitoring pediatric patients with complex neurological needs Ability to safely lift and transport small children, ensuring comfort and security Compassionate communication skills in supporting non-verbal students Comfortable providing one-on-one care in a school environment
