9674929-07050 Job Description Step into a rewarding full-time assignment serving as a registered nurse across a supportive district near Orange, NJ. This contract opportunity is ideal for licensed RNs with direct school nursing experience who are comfortable supervising and servicing caseloads district-wide. With two openings available, youll play a vital role in maintaining safe and healthy environments for students and staff throughout multiple school buildings.

Schedule:

Full-time, 35 hours per week Monday to Friday, 8:15 AM 3:15 PM Immediate start, continuing through June 25, 2027

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive school-based nursing care, addressing a wide range of student health needs Monitor, manage, and support caseloads within assigned schools and across the district Oversee health practices and safety protocols throughout entire school buildings Collaborate effectively with school staff, families, and administration Respond swiftly to health emergencies or incidents as needed

Required Qualifications:

Valid School Nursing RN licensure in NJ Demonstrated school-based nursing experience Experience with district-level support preferred Comfortable traveling between locationsreliable transportation required Must be able to clearly disclose relevant background and onboarding requirements Willingness and ability to manage multiple school buildings and diverse caseloads Compliance with onboarding requirements: TB test, physical exam, and fingerprinting for both the agency and district This contract role offers you a chance to make an impact while working a predictable daytime schedule.
