• New Jersey A leading academic medical center in New Jersey is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its established Neuro Critical Care and Stroke program for a long-term locum tenens assignment.

This is an excellent opportunity for APPs with ICU, Neuro ICU, Stroke, or Critical Care experience seeking a high-acuity inpatient environment with strong physician collaboration, consistent scheduling, and long-term stability. Position Highlights Full-time locum tenens assignment 12-hour day and night shifts available Rotating weekends No call responsibilities Long-term assignment through March 2027 Work alongside an established Neuro Critical Care team Competitive compensation Travel and malpractice coverage available for qualified providers Schedule 3 shifts per week

Day Shift:

6:30 AM

• 6:30

PM Night Shift:

6:30 PM

• 6:30 AM Clinical Responsibilities Inpatient Neuro Critical Care coverage Stroke and Neuro ICU patient management Participate in stroke code response Collaborate closely with physicians, APPs, nursing, and ICU support staff Manage critically ill neurological patients in a high-acuity setting Preferred Experience Neuro Critical Care experience preferred ICU or Critical Care APP background strongly preferred Stroke code experience highly desirable ICU procedural experience preferred Requirements Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Active New Jersey license preferred Current DEA and CDS required Ability to credential at a large academic facility This is a strong opportunity to join a respected neuroscience and critical care team while securing stable locums coverage with excellent clinical support and scheduling flexibility.
