Hours Weekly Job Summary:

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse

• Behavioral Health Adult Inpatient for a 14-week contract assignment at a leading acute care facility in New York, NY.

The ideal candidate will have strong inpatient behavioral health experience and the ability to provide compassionate, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced psychiatric setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care to adult behavioral health patients in an inpatient setting Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and behavioral changes Administer medications and treatments as prescribed Collaborate with psychiatrists, physicians, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams Maintain accurate patient documentation and clinical records Respond appropriately to psychiatric and medical emergencies Ensure patient safety and maintain a therapeutic care environment Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions Follow facility policies, behavioral health protocols, and infection control standards

Requirements:

Active New York State RN License AHA BLS Certification Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited nursing program Minimum two (2) years of Behavioral Health nursing experience required Strong communication, clinical documentation, and patient care skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced inpatient behavioral health environment For more details contact at or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
