Role:
Liberty Nursing Agency Inc is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Home Infusion Nurse to join our team. This is a rewarding opportunity to deliver high-quality, patient-centered infusion therapy in the comfort of patients' homes. Responsibilities:
Administer IV infusion therapies including antibiotics, hydration, IVIG and specialty medications in patients' homes Assess, monitor, and document patient responses to infusion treatments and report changes in condition Insert, maintain, and troubleshoot peripheral and central venous access devices (PICC lines, ports, central lines) Educate patients and caregivers on infusion therapy, medication management, and home care protocols Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists, and care teams to ensure seamless patient care Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory and agency standards Manage infusion supplies for each patient visit
Requirements:
Active RN license in the state of New Jersey Minimum 1-2 years of infusion therapy, IV therapy, or home health nursing experience preferred Proficiency in peripheral IV insertion (Port and PICC experience a plus, will train) Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Excellent communication and patient education abilities Reliable transportation and valid driver's license for home visit travel Ability to work independently and manage a flexible patient schedule
