Responsibilities Provide comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and detailed medical histories to inform diagnosis and treatment plans. Administer medications, injections, IV infusions, and perform suturing with precision while adhering to aseptic techniques and HIPAA regulations. Manage complex care needs such as dialysis, ventilator management, ostomy care, and wound care in accordance with established protocols. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for case management, discharge planning, and long-term care strategies across settings including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and home care environments. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner for accurate documentation of patient care activities and medical records management. Conduct laboratory specimen collection, processing, and diagnostic evaluations while maintaining strict infection control standards. Engage in patient education on health coaching topics such as medication administration, nutrition, pain management, and disease prevention tailored to individual needs. Demonstrate proficiency in emergency procedures including airway management, trauma medicine at Level I or II trauma centers, triage protocols, and acute pain management. Skills Extensive experience with EMR/EHR systems like Epic or Cerner; familiarity with

ICD-9/10

coding for accurate documentation. Proficiency in specialized nursing areas such as

ICU/CCU/PCU

(Progressive Care Unit), emergency medicine, obstetrics/gynecology (family planning), pediatrics (neonatal ventilator), geriatrics (memory care), behavioral health, hospice & palliative medicine. Strong clinical skills including IV insertion and venipuncture; ability to perform sterile processing and aseptic techniques confidently. Knowledge of pharmacology related to botulinum toxin treatments and other injectable therapies used in aesthetic or therapeutic settings. Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments such as trauma centers or urgent care clinics while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills for patient assessment discussions, teaching hospital environments, and working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges. Familiarity with healthcare regulations including HIPAA compliance; experience with medical documentation standards such as MDS or CPT coding. Critical thinking skills combined with physiology knowledge to evaluate symptoms accurately and prioritize urgent interventions when necessary.
