This contract position offers you the rewarding opportunity to make a difference by supporting a medically fragile student in a 1:1 setting while their primary nurse is on vacation. The role is set to begin on October 1, 2026, and will conclude on October 10, 2026ideal for RNs who value focused, meaningful experiences within education.

Key Qualifications:

Current and valid NJ Registered Nurse License (RN) Prior school nursing experience is preferred and will be highly regarded Experience with G-tube care is essential Ability to provide compassionate, reliable medical care to students Comfortable riding and supervising on the school bus for all required hours Availability for in-person care; remote or virtual work is not an option

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide individualized nursing care for a medically fragile student throughout the school day Administer G-tube feedings and monitor the students medical needs Accompany and supervise the student during bus rides to and from school (8:00/8:15 AM 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday) Communicate effectively with educational and healthcare staff to ensure continuity of care This is an excellent opportunity for compassionate, dedicated RNs seeking a brief but highly impactful placement within a supportive school environment.
