Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy & physiology, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding, and medical documentation standards. Hands-on experience with IV insertion, phlebotomy, aseptic technique, ventilator management, and infection control practices. Critical care experience preferred; additional expertise in cardiac catheterization, dialysis support, trauma medicine or neonatal resuscitation is a plus. Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities or those requiring memory care or dementia support.
