•Required BLS Certification
•Required Minimum 1 year of nursing experience Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred Strong patient assessment and clinical skills Experience with pre-operative and post-operative assessments Knowledge of surgical patient care and perioperative care Strong documentation and patient education skills Ability to safely care for patients across the lifespan, from pediatric to geriatric Knowledge of emergency equipment and procedures Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance and patient safety practices Key Responsibilities Perform systematic, comprehensive, and accurate patient assessments. Provide safe and appropriate nursing care based on patient needs. Complete accurate documentation and maintain patient records. Perform pre-operative and post-operative assessments and education. Evaluate Pre-Admission Testing (PAT) orders for completeness and appropriateness. Support timely completion of patient testing. Educate patients and families regarding surgical procedures and instructions. Demonstrate safe transfer techniques and proper body mechanics. Collaborate effectively with the perioperative care team. Prioritize patient care based on condition and changing needs. Maintain a professional and patient-centered environment. #
